| 1. Guests wishing to fly must show their current MAAC or AMA membership cards. |
2. No one shall fly unassisted until they have their MAAC wings. It is recommended that no one ever fly when alone.

3. The proper pin must be placed on the board before the transmitter is used and must be removed immediately after use, by the pilot only. Only 5 pilots may fly at any one time.

4. The field box should be opened before anyone starts their engines or flies. The last Club member to leave the field shall lock both the field box and the gate.
|
5. When there are more than 3 persons with transmitters at the field at the same time, then all transmitters not in use must be impounded in the impound box.
|
6. All frequency pins must have the pilot’s name and channel number.
|
7. No one shall fly in a manner that monopolizes the air space directly over the field nor for a period of more than 15 minutes.
|
8. Airplanes shall not be flown directly at or over the pit area. No one shall taxi into or out of the pit area.
|
9. Flyers shall stand in the designated area while maneuvering their aircraft, except when taking off or hand launching.
|
10. All aircraft must be secured against moving forward before starting the engine.
|
11. All flying must cease during field maintenance.
|
12. No vehicles are permitted on the field at any time, except for field maintenance.
|
13. No person shall fly an aircraft while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
|
14. No member shall fly an aircraft in a manner that creates or is likely to create a hazard to full sized aircraft. When there are low flying, full sized aircraft near the field, you must land immediately.

15. Violation of rules 13 or 14 may result in immediate expulsion from the Club as they are not subject to the progressive disciplinary code.

16. The hours of operation and maximum noise limits at the Heber Down field shall be:
Gliders and Electrics …………Sunrise to dusk
Powered aircraft: 88dBa and below at 7 meters …8am to Dusk 7 days a week
