CLUB SHIRTS AVAILABLE AT FLYING STUFF HOBBIES You guys will
remember the article in the October Newsletter announcing that club-member
Randy Hind of "Tugboat Promotional Services" is providing club golf-style
and tee shirts with "Whitby Aeromodeller" logos on them. A lot of the guys
have been ordering these items and distribution has become problematic so
Randy has arranged to have them sold out of Kelly Curl’s hobby shop "Flying
Stuff Hobbies" in Ajax.
Check out these shirts by looking at them pictured in the October
Newsletter. The golf shirts are made from 100% fine knitted washable cotton,
come in buff, white or grey in sizes S,M,L,& XL for $28.00 each plus the
appropriate sales taxes. The Tees are white woven washable cotton, come in
the same sizes and sell for $9.00 plus tax. Randy is looking into getting
both styles in size XXL which will likely be slightly higher in price – stay
tuned on that. You will note that the shirts previously ordered directly
from Randy (or Don Cavanaugh) were sold taxes included as a promotion – if
you are one of these people and have not yet received your shirts - you can
pick them up at Flying Stuff Hobbies. New orders need to be placed through
Flying Stuff Hobbies and will necessarily have to have sales taxes added.
Randy has also trying to find a reasonable deal on club jackets with the
club logo on them . They would be available in the same sizes at a price and
color that has not been determined yet - but if Randy can get them they will
be available through Flying Stuff Hobbies. I might add in passing guys -
that neither Randy nor Kelly make any significant profit on this stuff –
they’re doing it because a lot of the better clubs have them, - they go a
long way in promoting the club- and they look great.
So look your best at the field next year guys & talk to Kelly about it –
he plans to keep some in stock so drop by the store and have a look. Flying
Stuff Hobbies is located at 717 Finlay Ave, (Unit 4) in Ajax. - or Call
